In addition to using regular surveillance data, the Mosquito Control crew also utilizes customer concerns – submitted via the Customer Service Request Portal or called in to 757-890-3790 – to determine when and where mosquito ground spraying is conducted. When a location is identified, an email is sent to subscribers informing them of the spraying information. Subscribe here to receive updates. Residents who do not want their property to be included in the spraying are asked to complete a “Mosquito Spray Avoidance Request.”
