Today, the Phillip Jones for Mayor campaign announced that it has raised more than $45,151 during the second quarter of 2022, with $112,533 cash on hand. This is the most of any Mayoral candidate at this point in the cycle in Newport News history, reporting more cash on hand than all other declared opponents combined. Jones continues to surge as the clear front runner in the election after his initial announcement.
For the cycle, the Phillip Jones for Mayor campaign has raised $145,609. This is the most raised of any candidate for local office on the November ballot throughout the Commonwealth. This report covers fundraising activity from April 1 through June 9 of this year.
