Motorists can expect lane closures on Ft. Eustis Blvd beginning on Monday, Sep 21 for construction activities relating to the Ft. Eustis Blvd Bridge Replacement Project. The lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 35 mph will occur on Ft. Eustis Boulevard between the I-64 interchange at Exit 250 and the Warwick Blvd interchange.
For the duration of the demolition and reconstruction of the westbound bridge, one lane in both directions will be closed, as well as the ramp from westbound Ft. Eustis Blvd to westbound Warwick Blvd. Motorists should be alert for potential delays, especially between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. in the westbound direction and from 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the eastbound direction. This phase is expected to last between 12 and 15 months.
