Individuals and families interested in helping to keep York County clean and green may register with our Waste Management Center and check out a free clean-up kit to help you safely collect and dispose of litter. Everything you need is available in the kit: gloves, bags, safety vests, litter grabbers, and more. These kits are available for one week and the County will make arrangements to pick up the bagged litter that you have collected!

This program is made possible through a partnership with the York County Department of Public Works and the York County Beautification Committee, and is funded by grants from the VA Department of Environmental Quality and the Chesapeake Bay Restoration Fund Advisory Committee.
