Review by The Bulletin Post
For me eating pizza is a treat, a special thing. So you want it perfect!
I want a crust that is golden brown, not soggy, the vegetables well cooked, and cheese is melted over everything.
We ordered a large pizza from Marco’s with four toppings. We placed our order online and the ETA for the pizza delivery was 45-55 minutes.
From the time we pushed the order button to the knock on our door, it was exactly 25 minutes. Pretty impressive for a weekend delivery.
The delivery man was courteous – and during these times when we are concerned about sanitation – the gentleman was wearing a face mask and his phone that required my signature had a case around it for easy sanitation.
Our pizza was topped with chicken, beef, mushrooms, olives, spinach, onions, feta and pineapple. A pizza ain’t a pizza without pineapple! I know some of you are grimacing, but come on, it’s good.
Upon inspecting the pizza, the crust was golden brown not one tidbit of crust was burnt or overly cooked. The vegetables, meat and pineapple were evenly distributed but the cheese was not as bountiful as I like. Instead of the cheese being spread on top and melting over the vegetables, the cheese was nearer the crust and feta was liberally crumbled on top.
The onions were a little under cooked which was unfortunate.
So to the rating; a combined total of 4.5 Stars!
Delivery time: 5 Stars
Delivery man: 5 Stars – due to added precaution of face mask
Crust: 5 Stars
Topping distribution: 5 Stars
Cheesiness: 3 Stars
Heat: 5 Stars
Toppings cooked: 3.5 Stars – due to under cooked onions
In short I would order from Marco’s again! Try them yourself and tell them you heard about them from The Bulletin Post!
